Traumatic experiences can leave deep emotional and psychological wounds. Whether your trauma comes from a single event or ongoing experiences, its effects can linger long after the event has passed—impacting your thoughts, relationships, and sense of safety.
At our Texas-based mental health clinic, we provide specialized trauma and PTSD therapy to help you process painful experiences, regain emotional stability, and rebuild a sense of control and safety in your life.
Trauma occurs when an individual experiences events that feel overwhelming, threatening, or deeply distressing. These may include accidents, abuse, violence, loss, medical trauma, or significant life disruptions.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a condition that can develop after trauma, leading to symptoms such as intrusive memories, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, or avoidance behaviors.
Trauma therapy focuses on helping you understand these responses and develop healthier ways to cope, heal, and move forward.
If these symptoms affect your daily life, professional trauma therapy can provide meaningful support.
Our trauma-informed approach integrates proven therapeutic methods with personalized care. We prioritize emotional safety, empowerment, and gradual healing.
EMDR helps individuals process traumatic memories and reduce emotional distress associated with past experiences.
TF-CBT helps identify and reframe negative thought patterns related to trauma.
These techniques address how trauma is stored in the body, helping release tension and restore a sense of calm.
These tools help you stay present and manage overwhelming emotions safely.
Healing from trauma is possible, and therapy provides structured support throughout the process.
We believe trauma therapy must be rooted in safety, trust, and empathy. Our Texas-based therapists provide:

My daughter found this facility when she needed someplace to help her ground herself. She made an excellent choice. The staff was very caring and showed great concern for her well being. They were patient and answered all questions from the intake to the discharge. My daughter really enjoyed the diversity of programs, events and materials that were available for the residents, and although she faced some challenges even while there, I feel as though she was provided tools and lessons to help her cope. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to personally meet her caseworker Bess, but she kept in touch with me throughout her stay and even followed up after her discharge. I would definitely recommend Lonestar for youself, a family member, friend or loved one.Posted on Colton CaiatiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Omg what a great place for rehabilitation! It is one of the finest establishments I’ve ever seen or been given the pleasure of tour. The nurse Christina was the best at explaining everything that goes on day and night and it was a very heart warming and friendly atmosphere. I recommend to all.Posted on Lindsey SkeltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
